Ta’ Micallef Farmhouse was buzzing with energy as team members from across Antes came together for our much-loved annual summer event—a full day dedicated to connection, celebration, and good vibes. From 11am till midnight, this wasn’t just a break from routine—it was a vibrant reminder of what makes us #TeamAntes.

The goal was simple: to create a relaxed space for colleagues to unwind and connect outside the usual work setting. As Dorothy Caruana Garcia, our HR Manager, put it, “It’s one of the most anticipated events of the year, a chance to unwind, mingle, and simply enjoy good vibes with the team.”

Ta’ Micallef Farmhouse was the perfect fit - summer-ready, flexible, and set up for fun well into the evening. Add a lively Bingo session, a poolside chill-out zone, spontaneous games, and that DJ set- and you’ve got a formula for memories that last.

What made this year’s event stand out? “The energy,” Dorothy said. “Everyone came together, made the most of the day, and kept the dance floor alive right until the very end.”

There was a strong sense of inclusivity woven into every moment. From the early arrivals lounging by the pool to the late-night dance crew, every individual had space to join in on their own terms. Even the quieter team members found themselves drawn into the fun—a win for team bonding and proof of a culture where everyone belongs.

The event didn’t just reflect summer, it reflected our values:

Clarity: The message was clear - this day was for us to reconnect and recharge.

Accessibility: Flexible attendance made it easy for everyone to join, no matter their schedule.

Partnership: From catering to music and photography, trusted partners helped bring the day to life.

Drive: The aim to build even stronger team relationships wasn’t just achieved—it was exceeded.

Special thanks to Neriku Caterers, DJ Charles Tanti, Andrew Azzopardi Photography, and the team at J. Micallef Farmhouse - their support made the day truly exceptional.

From shy colleagues surprising us with bold dance moves, to spontaneous laughter around the games table, the day was full of unplanned magic. “It was touching to see everyone let go, even those who aren’t usually front and centre,” Dorothy reflected.

As for future plans? The feedback has already started rolling in. “Some great ideas for next year are already in the mix,” she said with a smile. “But the main takeaway? Let’s keep creating spaces like this—spaces that celebrate who we are together.”
