The best way to start the year? Fresh air, great company, and a bit of adventure! On Saturday, 15th February, a group of 15 colleagues from Antes and Argus, along with family members—and two four-legged friends—set out on a scenic 5km hike in Għajn Tuffieħa. Organised by the Antes Social Committee together with Pierre Sant, our own Senior IT Support Analyst and Scout Leader, the event was all about team bonding, good conversations, and embracing the outdoors.

The hike, which started near Radisson Blu Golden Sands, took approximately two hours to complete. Some participants even took on an extra challenge by trekking down a cliffside path to get closer to the sea. Throughout the walk, the atmosphere was relaxed and full of positive energy. “Spending time in nature and in a casual environment allows for real connections beyond the office,” said Terri Zerafa Heckenlaible, Senior Broker, Motor Fleet & Corporate Clients – Personal Lines. “It’s a great way to strengthen team spirit, and there’s also a sense of shared accomplishment at the end of the trail.”

After the walk, the group gathered at Apple’s Eye Restaurant, where they enjoyed a well-earned meal and lively discussions about future activities. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many suggesting that hikes should become an annual tradition—with an even longer trail next time!

With more fun and adventurous events in the pipeline, 2025 is off to an exciting start at Antes!
