On February 18, 2015, Gretchen Mifsud embarked on a new chapter in her career by joining First United Insurance Brokers as a Senior Broker. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance broking industry, specialising in commercial and corporate clients, Gretchen brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Following the merger with Island Insurance Brokers Ltd, her exceptional skills and leadership qualities led to her promotion to Senior Manager in the Corporate & Advisory Division.

Reflecting on her role, Gretchen shares, "Being involved in shaping the company’s direction and seeing our strategic plans lead to measurable growth is something I find deeply rewarding. I also enjoy creating an environment where my team feels comfortable sharing ideas and tackling challenges. It’s deeply fulfilling to see creative solutions come to life and contribute to our overall success."

Outside of her professional life, Gretchen enjoys weekend walks with friends, which help her reset and stay energised. A fun fact that many might not know is that she holds an honours degree in History of Art. While she doesn't practice it professionally, she finds it incredibly fulfilling, providing a refreshing contrast to the structured nature of insurance—a perfect way to unwind and balance between two very different worlds.
